Biography

Dr. Jerry Dixon lived in Benton, Arkansas throughout his childhood. He was the first Benton High School graduate to also graduate from the US Military Academy!

After graduating from West Point in 1974, he entered the US Army Infantry and went on to be Special Forces “A Team” Commander. Captain Jerry Dixon entered the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1983 while serving in the Army Reserves.

After serving the Army for 20 years, Lt. Col. Dixon returned to his hometown of Benton. He and his wife of 28 years have three children.

Special Interests

Dr. Dixon enjoys anything where his children are involved. He especially likes to be outdoors: hunting, golfing, or working on his farm. He is a Christian and active member of First Baptist Church of Benton.
